Nand Utsav

This festival is peculiar to the Rangji Temple. A thirty feet high wooden post is erected near the front gate of Rangji Temple. The wooden post is well lubricated with mustared oil which is periodically poured down the post from an elevated machan to make it slippery. Young boys try to climb up the post to reach the top and win the competition.
